LAUNCHED: DRIP DROP. A Place of Worship, for Good Merch
A new Company Merch Newsletter, profiling the good, the very good, and the good people making it happen
It had been a festering thought for a while - launching a publication focused on company merch. Then I found a co-conspirator - Kayla Medica - and now it’s real. Meet: DRIP DROP
Muchos éxitos! Kayla Medica and I have launched a new venture together: DRIP DROP, a publication focused on spotlighting (and advocating for) Great Company Merch.
Finding a collaborator on the same wavelength to enter into a new business, is a gift, and Kayla and I have shared many thoughts on what good looks like when it comes to merch, what we don’t like, and how we can advocate for better standards in our occupied industry: startup and tech.
We’ve launched DRIP DROP as a weekly newsletter on beehiiv, profiling great merch in the wild, great tastemakers, great indie shops producing it, and great ideas on how to do this well as a form of brand-building creative expression.
There are whispers in our group chat of merch awards in the future!
There are whispers in our group chat of releasing our own merch capsules!
There are loud rumblings of special edition newsletters created to profile other industries and segments of culture that do this incredibly well.
And at the core of it, there’s two writers who enjoy writing about merch, creating a newsletter that is very niche, and very predictably delivered, every Friday afternoon Aus time.
DRIP DROP. “A Place of Worship, for Good Merch.”
Open for business.
Sign up below, and if you’ve got great merch in your company, smoke ‘em if you got ‘em (pics or it didn’t happen, send it!)
(oh and chuck us a like on LinkedIn if that’s ok too HERE Cheers!)

Event: AFTER DARK SYDNEY
Nearly 300 signed up to this tmrw night in Sydney, it’s free, & you can talk all things DRIP DROP when I’m there too 😎
Its focused on people building hard businesses, predominantly in challenging or sub-culture realms.
This event was given a small grant by Blackbird, who are curating the Sunrise conference, the reason I am in town (to announce DRIP DROP et al).
